In the Shareija area of Al-abal Al Akhdar, you can find Jabal Al Yahmed Or Jabal AL Hosn (AlYahmed Or AlHosn Mountain ).At the crest of this highland area there is an ancient masjid where people of science and religion used to workship God in.Until recent years,access to these villages was by foot, but the paved roads now put these villages in easy reach.
there is a bottomless well in Al Jabool Mountain at Saloot village. there is no proof of water existance as the well is too deep. At seiq village there are high pyramid-like ruins or houses built of stone. The ruins include the house of Imam Saif Bin Sultan Al Ya'rubi among several inhabited buildings, as well as a number of aold mosques.
At the Wadi Bani Habib there are two deserted villages (Al Bilad and Al Sab) they are well worth a visit too experience and sense the past life in a mountainous villages. This is also the case for Al Ain and Al Shareijja villages, and the old houses in hail Al Yeen which were built of gypsum and stone.
